Perfect!
She had first sent me a beautiful picture of her nursing her baby but we didn't want to get flagged so she then sent me this
A & F clothing to the homeless
on top of the CEO saying fat people aren't beautiful and aren't allowed in his store.....Abercrombie and Fitch has also come out saying they burn their clothes instead of donating because they don't want the homeless wearing their brand. so someone started a new campaign.....donate your A&F clothes to the homeless. the video went viral and can be found here. http://shine.yahoo.com/ healthy-living/ new-viral-video-campaign-donate s-abercrombie---fitch-clothing -to-homeless-people-151044154. html

New Princess???
You guys I am so ticked about this!
My daughter was in tears saying she loved the old Princess and doesn't like the new immodest one.
Why is the world so stuck on looks that they are changing the ONE FIRST Princess to actually look realistic into what they call a Sexy animated unrealistic character.
She doesn't look the same at all!
Please sign the petition and try to get her changed back to how she was. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/08/merida-brave-makeover_n_3238223.html

CEO A&F
Im sure everyone has heard by now the A&F statement the CEO recently came out with. That he hates fat people. That he only wants thin and Beautiful people shopping in his store and wearing his brand.
Seriously!??? This is exactly why girls and guys have the complete wrong conception of how they are supposed to look and how they are being told to look. AND how they are telling others they need to look. Because they are being told that is the right way. That its the only way to be loved and cool.
IT IS NOT! Its so wrong!
Not only will I never shop at any of their stores but this goes beyond that. It goes beyond the clothing and the porn in their advertising.
Its targeting young teens and their self image.
It does NOT matter if you are a size Small or an XXL. Everyone is Beautiful. I hope that everyone knows that no matter what the "cool" kids say to them and no matter what brand of clothing they wear!
I wont post the link since there are images with underage looking models modeling "clothes" but here is the whole article..............
"Anyone who’s been to Abercrombie & Fitch in the last few years has probably noticed that they don’t carry XL or XXL sizes of women’s clothing because they don’t want overweight women wearing their brand.
According to this popular teen clothing retailer, fat chicks will just never be a part of the “in” crowd.
They take a big risk with this tactic because two of Abercrombie’s biggest competitors, H&M and American Eagle, both offer XXL sizes for men and women.
The largest women’s pants available at Abercrombie are a size 10, while H&M goes up to 16 and American Eagle goes even farther to 18.
Abercrombie’s attitude towards plus-sized women derives from CEO Mike Jeffries. Robin Lewis, author of The New Rules of Retail, spoke to Business Insider about the kind of people Jeffries wants advertising his brand.
“He doesn’t want larger people shopping in his store, he wants thin and beautiful people,” Lewis said. “He doesn’t want his core customers to see people who aren’t as hot as them wearing his clothing. People who wear his clothing should feel like they’re one of the ‘cool kids.’”
Lewis said that the only reason Abercrombie offers XL and XXL in men’s sizes is to appeal to large athletes.
In a 2006 interview with Salon, Jeffries confirmed that the communication between hot people is his primary marketing tactic.
“It’s almost everything. That’s why we hire good-looking people in our stores. Because good-looking people attract other good-looking people, and we want to market to cool, good-looking people. We don’t market to anyone other than that,” he said.
Jeffries also told Salon that he wasn’t bothered by excluding fat people. In fact, he said that not limiting his ideal demographic would make his clothing less desirable.
“In every school there are the cool and popular kids, and then there are the not-so-cool kids,” he told the site. “Candidly, we go after the cool kids. We go after the attractive all-American kid with a great attitude and a lot of friends. A lot of people don’t belong [in our clothes], and they can’t belong. Are we exclusionary? Absolutely. Those companies that are in trouble are trying to target everybody: young, old, fat, skinny. But then you become totally vanilla. You don’t alienate anybody, but you don’t excite anybody, either,” he told Salon.
One might wonder why Mike Jeffries only wants to be in the company of good-looking people. That curiosity will end after seeing what this freak looks like.
After seeing a picture of Mike Jeffries, it can only be concluded that he was never around good-looking people as a kid and is now making up for the glamorous youth he wishes he had."

From another friend who isn't ready to make a poster
"I really like the stuff you have been posting. I really like the t-shirts. I wish I heard that I was beautiful more growing up and even now to be honest. A person needs to hear that , and that they are enough whether they wear sweats and a tee or a fancy outfit. Love it."
Georgia
"Sure it was easy to write them they are just words until I truly believe them.
It made me think that it could be possible to be all I want to be.
When people see my picture with my poster what do they see... Do they think I think I'm beautiful? Do they think that of me? I hope one day I can truly feel good with what I'm working with and working on is the key.
It's crazy how people can bring you down or bring you up!
I have days where I look in the mirror and I'm like wow I look pretty today. But I've never felt beautiful on an average day. My wedding day I felt beautiful in every way. I feel that others around me brings down, use me, and step on me. I like to think I have a strong beautiful heart but it's hard when the out side conflicts. As far as my appearance no I don't think I'm beautiful on the out side. I'm not thin or have cute clothes or know how to wear make up. I'm working on becoming what I want but it's taking time..lol all in all I have a wonderful family and I'm trying my best to do what we need. I'm taking care of my body and trying to be a good person. Not today not tomorrow but I hope one day I can hold this sign up and truly believe the words on it ."

From a cousin.
She told me I could share this since she isn't quite ready to make her own poster yet.
"I was doing the poster....but it is way harder than I thought it would be :(.
Doing it may take a bit of time because its so hard....why is that?
I have thought and wrote it out but can't seem to do it. Then I rewrite and rewrite it and try to say I'm strong, and those wishes are true but I don't even believe myself.
I'm fine admitting I don't believe the positive qualities I have and that People say I have because I've spent too long focusing on the negative and tearing myself down. Building myself up and bringing in positive things is a daily and constant struggle.
Cute shirts by the way. I go to counseling for verbal, physical and emotional abuse. The therapist really focuses on "I am Enough." "I am Me" "I am worth it".
You are on the right track with your I am Statements. "
So after talking with her I made this design for another shirt.
She loved it and I do too :)
